The Brazilian Congress of Brewing Science and Technology has been contributing to the formation of professional brewing knowledge since the 1980s and is the main platform for reflection on the transformations experienced by the industry and the market.
The 18th edition was organized in partnership with the Instituto da Cerveja Brasil (ICB), a brewing training school responsible for training more than 15,000 students across the country. With the lectures curated by Alfredo Ferreira, Estácio Rodrigues and Kathia Zanatta in conjunction with Brasil Brau, we brought debates that shed light on the news, challenges, techniques and trends in the brewing sector, presented by renowned professionals. The Congress reinforced its importance as the main and longest-running event in the brewing sector in Brazil – even predating the fair itself in 1989.
