GENERAL INFORMATION
THE TRADE FAIR
Brasil Brau, the International Beer Technology Fair, brings together every two years all the main players in the production chain of the national and international beer sector. In our 17th edition, we brought together more than 120 brands who presented their products, services, and technologies to an audience of 8,000 professionals. During the three days, in a new and larger pavilion at the São Paulo Expo, we brought the most modern and fashionable products to the entire chain. In addition, content areas such as the CBCTEC – Brazilian Congress of Brewing Science and Technology and the Brewer Lounge, covered unprecedented and relevant content in the sector with national and international speakers. Check them out below!
CBCTEC – BRAZILIAN CONGRESS OF BREWING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Brazilian Congress of Brewing Science and Technology has been contributing to the formation of professional brewing knowledge since the 1980s and is the main platform for reflection on the transformations experienced by the industry and the market.
The 18th edition was organized in partnership with the Brazilian Beer Institute (ICB), a brewing training school responsible for training more than 15,000 students across the country. With the lectures curated by Alfredo Ferreira, Estácio Rodrigues and Kathia Zanatta in conjunction with Brasil Brau, we brought debates that shed light on the news, challenges, techniques and trends in the brewing sector, presented by renowned professionals. The Congress reinforced its importance as the main and longest-running event in the brewing sector in Brazil – even predating the fair itself in 1989.
BREWER
LOUNGE
A success at the 2022 and 2024 editions of Brasil Brau, the Brewer Lounge is a space dedicated to showing free content to the event’s audience. In this space, lecturers present the benefits of the applicability of products, services and technologies in their business, ensuring visibility for the object presented and contributing exponentially to the success of the negotiation. The Brewer Lounge offers drinks and tastings to the public during breaks in the presentations.
In each of the last editions, the Brewer Lounge had more than 700 attendees and covered a variety of topics such as trends and concepts in zero-alcohol beverages, the post-pandemic beer market, sustainability and the use of metadata in the beer sector, with multidisciplinary and current market content. It is also worth mentioning some of the names that presented content, ranging from the public sector through MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock) to the private sector such as IFF, Abracerva and BioMérieux.
